(That is 80%! WOW) GOLD: 23 SILVER: 16 BRONZE: 20 Special mention to Instructors Anthony Chute and Alexander Herbig – Double Gold medals! Moving along to what is happening this term……. CAMP Our annual camp is four weeks away 25-27 October – at Groot Drakenstein in Paarl. The details will follow this mail closely, so please watch out for it and let’s get your names down. Only for Grade 1 and older. Parents you are more than welcome to come along, if you would like to. This camp is a most enjoyable weekend away for everybody and is a highlight of the year for most people, so if you have been before, see you there again and for our new people that have not experienced it yet, COME ALONG and have a GREAT WEEKEND! GRADING The grading for this term is on 30th November 2013 – invites for students grading for a new belt will be out in the next week or two. LOST PROPERTY I have a selection of lost property items, hoodies, watches etc – please let me know if you are missing anything and I will see if I have it. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity. Speaking about charity, if you have unwanted CJA clothing that you would like to donate, please give them to me and I will be donating them to an orphanage in Mitchells Plain. CHANGE IN CLASSES CURRO – this class will now be split, due to its size. So starting MONDAY 7th OCTOBER · Grade 1-3: 4.15 pm – 5.00 pm · Grade 4-8: 5.00 pm – 5.45 pm
NB! DURBANVILLE PREP SCHOOL CLASSES for OCTOBER Due to the annual concert we will not be able to use the hall for the first three weeks in October – so the Grade1-2 (3pm) and Grade 2-3 (4pm) classes will be combined with the 5pm – 6pm class at the Durbanville Primary School Hall. (You can leave 15 minutes earlier to get to the concert) This applies till the 18th of October. If you do not understand or have any issues with this, please contact me.
